AN INTRODUCTION
The Marble Arches are a three piece powerhouse of Yorkshire’s finest musicians and misfits, with a mission to carve a path between accessibility and noise, all while cutting out the nonsense. Drawing influences from far reaches to make something that hits, they work in the dark, secretively and delivering music almost out of nowhere, in a place long overlooked. Originally formed in 2017 as the musical outlet of Harry Wainwright Little, the band have since released 3 bodies of work. In 2018, the debut EP ‘Under The Marble Arches’ was released, culminating in a live session with BBC Introducing. 2019 saw the release of their double A side single - This is What Ignorance Does, which was subsequently playlisted on VEVO and saw the band open the main stage of Bingley Weekender, performing alongside the likes of IDLES, Echo & The Bunnymen and Miles Kane. HEADS UP, their latest EP released in 2022 was acclaimed by a wider audience for it’s artistic progress, with an eclectic and genre defying sound. TMA’s resolve is to never to be put in a box, making music that constantly evolves, with hooks to make you move and think to deliver powerful songwriting and colossal live performances.
